Nook Tablet has been revealed

At today’s press conference, Barnes & Noble has released their answer to Amazon’s Kindle Fire, The Nook Tablet. Picking up where the Nook Color left off, with a media central experience. Relaying on the software and experience more so than the physical hardware. Still with a pretty good hardware base of a 1GHz dual core CPU and 1GB of RAM wrapped in a shell that comes in under a pound. The screen measuring at 7 inches that has a new “Vivid View” technology that has been developed by LG, giving it a huge breakthrough in tablet screen technology, as it’s been labeled with. Loads of onboard memory with 16GB along with the ability to add in up to 32GB of SD card removable storage.

 

Videos up to 1080p resolution is supported, 11.5 hour battery life (9 hours of video playback). More advantages of going into your local Barnes & Noble and being able to access the free hotspot while sipping your latte and browsing the full catalog of books. You can pre-order your Nook Tablet today for $249.99 while it will be available in stores next week.
