Avatar breaking records

For the past two weeks Avatar has grossed $745 million which is coming very close to matching James Cameron other blockbuster movie Titanic which grossed $1.8 billion as well as surpassing the last Harry Potter movie. Having a large budget to begin with when work started it has already meet and past it’s $240 million budget, a great portion of the budget was earmarked for the tech that was made to make Avatar in order to bring cinema to a whole other level in creating the CGI for it. It could be close in coming to Titanic but in all honesty it might not surpass it, we will see and hope it does.
Disney/Marvel merger done

Yesterday marked a new moment in the history of comics when the merger that was first announced this past summer has come to a close with the approval of the merger. During a closed-door meeting between Marval’s shareholders brought forth the approval. Now that the hard part of pretty much over with, the only thing that would have to be ironed out are some minor conditions. To fully see how the merger will effect either companies characters and properties in the long run.
